This special event will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm in Lakehead University's Agora. During the reception, we will celebrate Lakehead's outstanding researchers and students. We will also acknowledge the contributions made by our valued research partners and sponsors.
You are also invited to attend last year's Distinguished Researcher Talk by Dr. Michel Beaulieu, Department of History titled "Canada's Last Big Vision, and Forgotten, Prime Minister"; the talk will take place from 3:00pm - 4:00pm in the Senate Chambers just prior to the Awards of Excellence Reception. What is the dress code? Business Casual Attire
Will there be refreshments? There will be complimentary appetizers, non-alcoholic punch, tea & coffee. There will be a CASH bar available.
May I bring a guest? Yes, please feel free to bring a guest. However, we WILL require you to register your guest, as this is a catered event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Printed tickets are NOT required, we will have a registration manifest at the door.
What are my parking options upon arriving at the Lakehead campus? Please follow the event signage to the parking area upon entering the campus via the Oliver Road and Balmoral Street entrances. Parking is COMPLIMENTARY for this event using code LU7583.
